The Bible tells us that in the beginning, God created everything—from the smallest atom to the largest galaxies. He also created people, like you and me.
We were made to live with God and to know Him just like we know our family and friends. When God created us, that relationship was perfect—exactly as He intended it to be. You were created for a purpose.
📖 The Scripture
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…" (Psalm 139:13-14)
However, it didn’t stay that way. The first people, Adam and Eve, decided they knew better than God did. By choosing their own way instead of God's design, they invited sin into the world.
What is sin?
Think of it as anything we think, say, or do that goes against God’s design.
Because God is perfect, He cannot be around sin. Sin, not just Adam and Eve’s, but our own, broke our relationship with Him.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
This separation leads to spiritual death—separation from God forever.
But God loved you too much to leave it that way. He sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth. Jesus lived a life that was sinless and perfect in every way.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
Even though He was innocent, Jesus took the punishment that we deserved. He was sentenced to die on a cross to pay the price for our mistakes.
He did this because He loves you. He could have stopped it at any moment, but He stayed because He didn't want to leave you in your sin. Because of Jesus, you can be forgiven and that perfect relationship with God can be restored.
It doesn’t stop there! Jesus rose from the grave, proving His power over sin and death itself. Because He is alive, you can have a new life!
It’s not just a “do-over.” You can walk in true freedom with the God who made you, forever.
Everything has been put in place for you to be forgiven and free. But for a gift to be yours, you have to accept it. There are two things to do:

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
The choice is yours. The invitation is open.
If you’ve made that decision today, there isn’t a “magic prayer,” but you can talk to God right now. If you don't know what to say, you can use these words:
"Jesus, I agree with you. I know that because of my sin, I deserve to be separated from you forever. But I believe that you lived a perfect life, you died on the cross to pay for my sins, and rose from the grave to give me a new life. Thank you. You are my Lord and Savior. Amen."
